For over thirty years I have freelanced as a graphic designer and illustrator. I have contracted with large corporations, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. My design studio, Primitive Tools, is a collaborative of individuals with expertise in graphic design, editorial coordination, page layout, and production. For the past ten years Primitive Tools has been focused on working with educational publishers.

I enjoy working with my publishing clients. However, I'm always on the prowl for different creative challenges. My priorities in life and graphic design have changed since the early days of my studio. I'm ready to offer my expertise on media projects that make a positive impact on people and the environment. I wish to work with innovative organizations that foster progressive attitudes and responsible media.
