City Keeper Maps

For seven consecutive years I illustrated for City Keeper Maps. Each map includes color display ads and an index for locating advertisers on the map.

I enjoy the challenge of working from reference materials, such as Thomas Bros. street maps and photos of advertisers' buildings, to create whimsical caricatures of cities. I'm careful to include details of famous landmarks, tourist attractions, and accurate street locations. Cities include Dana Point, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano, California.
